Woman Learns to Stop Dating Players & Love Herself | STORYTIME

I can’t tell you how many people I have met who have a horrible dating history. Whether they’ve been fooled by players or taken advantage of by mooches, I’ve heard it all. However, singles often feel alone in their stories even though there are many other people who are sharing their struggles in the dating world. 

That’s why I wanted to tell the story of one of my clients, let’s call her Jenny. She struggled with what I call the “marketing trap” when I met her. The marketing trap is when a person changes themselves to be who they think their potential mate wants them to be instead of being their authentic selves. 

This is a very common issue for insecure singles which is why Jenny’s story is so important. As Jenny navigated her habit of falling for the marketing trap, a very valuable lesson taught her to stop dating trash and turn her love on herself.
