Coping with Anxiety | Storytime
Starting this video took me exponentially more takes than any other video. Why? Talking about and exposing my anxiety publicly gave me an anxiety attack. Classic, right?
Since we are living in quite anxious and fear-filled times I’ve had a lot of hours to sit and think about how anxiety informs my everyday life. After paying close attention to how anxiety manifests physically and emotionally, I am finally comfortable enough to expose my anxiety for what it is.
That’s why today, I am going to share with you my struggle as an anxious person and the coping strategies that I have developed to keep my anxiety in check. Dealing with any mental health issue can be challenging for anyone so feel free to take what works for you from here and lose what does not. I worked through many of these issues with a therapist and a coach.
