I Said F**k it, What Do I Have to Lose?
I got this meme on the right a few days ago that I can’t get out of my head.
Honestly, it made me think of my past and how much I’ve changed.
I remember listening to my intuition and applying these same 3 Simple Truths in Life.
For years I used to complain about my dating life, until I recognized it was me getting in my own way… that’s when I started focusing on what I wanted, asking for what I needed, and if I was uncomfortable at least I was stretching myself to move forward.
And YES! It was uncomfortable as hell asking for help but I said f**k it, what do I have to lose? I did it my way for so long (attracting shitty dates or 2 to 3 month relationships), I might as well try something else.
So that’s exactly what I did and soon enough I opened myself to learning dating skills I was lacking so that I could get the type of relationship I deserved.
And.. guess what, it worked!
As you all know, I met my awesome hubby Kevin online :-).
And when I left my corporate career 3 years ago to pursue my passion, I was faced with another challenge. As you can imagine the eye rolls I got when I said I wanted to pursue my passion as a Dating + Relationship Coach.
It was hard at first, doubting my choice but.. I have a passion for helping singles get over their fears and experience the love they deserved.
I just kept saying to myself… who cares what people think, as long as I can help one single person, all the efforts would be worth it to me.
Staying laser focused on my goal, trying not to let me fears get in the way…I repeated these same 3 Simple Truths in Life again and within a year I was blessed with Datingadvice.com naming me 2014 LA’s 17 Best Dating Coaches.
And super excited to share with you that I published my first, “A Women’s Handbook to Online Dating: Secrets to Successfully Find Love Online” this year. I would love for you to check it out.
I’m glad I never gave up, that’s why I’m asking you today NOT give up.
Instead, I want you listen to your intuition now and ask yourself these same questions I did that not only changed the direction of my love life but my entire life as well.
1. What are you doing right now? Is it working or not?
2. What type of relationship do you really want (without limitations)?
3. What’s in the way of you getting what you want?
4. What help do you need to make this relationship into your reality?
5. And are you READY to take a first step forward to accomplishing this goal?
Feel free to leave your answer in the comment box. 🙂 I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
